Low Voltage D.C. Motors

As a further enhancement to our product range, we have recently introduced a superb NEW range of Low Voltage D.C Motors. The 85-600W LN/LV56 and the 280-2000W LN/LV74 range are both available as either LN (Fanless) or LV (Self-Ventilating) models. Both ranges are specifically designed for use with a battery supply.

Low Voltage DC Motor Range
LN56 LOW VOLTAGE MOTOR
  • Motors in accordance with IEC Standards.
  • Ideal for use with Battery Supply.
  • Permanent magnet fields at two poles.
  • Ceramic Magnets at high coercive field.
  • Front and back shields made of alluminium alloy.
  • Ball-bearings double shield permanently lubricated.
  • No overheating caused by field circuit.
  • High torque increases at low speed with no danger of demagnetization.
  • Wide range of variable speed at constant torque.
  • Good electrical efficiency.
  • Careful centring of brushes allows motor to be used in both directions of rotation.
  • Max. start current 150% of nominal value for 60 sec.
  • Protection IP 54N Class dynamic balancing with key.
  • IC411 closed (self-ventilated) and IC410 (fanless) cooling form.
  • Mounting form B3-B5-B14.
  • F Class insulation on all motors with impregnation and wire H Class insulation for tropical conditions.
  • Brush life of ca. 2000 hrs in ideal conditions.
